Chapter House Campaign 2015-2022 Archive

First, we’d like to say a special “Thank You” to the 73 Alumni Brothers and their 34 guests who attended our Grand Opening Celebration over the 2018 Homecoming weekend (12-14 October 2018).  Theta Xi Executive Director, Tanner Mercantel (AA1675), presented the Chapter with a framed Litaney during the dedication ceremony of the new building.

In 2015, the focus of our plan was on building the new chapter house and what needed to be done to make it happen. We began by engaging with our alumni, and have made steady progress. Today our focus is on investing in the future. Our current active membership is focused on a recruitment strategy which will help us grow. The Alpha Psi brotherhood is strengthened by the leadership of the chapter officers. Our alumni officers partner with the active counterparts to aggressively improve all aspects of chapter life. And we can now confidently look forward to a vibrant active chapter, in a new modern chapter house.

We are still short of our Fundraising goals and Participation Goals. Therefore, we still have some work to ensure the successful completion of our Project. If you have not given to the Campaign, we ask that you consider doing so now to help us pay off the mortgage. Any amount is welcome and appreciated. If you have given, we ask that you consider increasing your gift.  If your current pledge has payments scheduled in the future, please consider paying them early. Now is the time to participate in ensuring successful completion of this project and the future of Alpha Psi.  Any donation of at least $25,000 is tax deductible and any donation of at least $1000 will get your name on the donor wall.  Once the mortgage is paid off the donor wall will be reconfigured in such a way to still recognize those Brothers who helped us build the house (listed there now) and also recognize those brothers who helped us pay off the mortgage and make it ours (additional glass plates will be added).
