Alpha Psi Foundation

The Alpha Psi Foundation is committed to strengthening the Alpha Psi Chapter and its members. We provide meaningful opportunities that help members succeed as students, develop as leaders and grow as men of character.

The Alpha Psi Foundation accomplishes this by:

Scholarships – Offering Academic scholarships, Incoming High Academic Freshmen scholarships, Incoming Future Leaders scholarships and (in the future) Officer / Mentor incentive scholarships for those that exceed expectations in helping lead the Chapter.
Grants – Supporting workshops, seminars, and programs that prepare members for success in college and beyond, including professional development, leadership, personal and life skills.
Chapter Enrichment – Providing resources for study areas, educational spaces, and other chapter improvements that enhance our learning environment.
Alumni Engagement & Giving Back – Encouraging alumni to remain connected by mentoring undergraduates and supporting programs that ensure current and future members benefit from the same traditions of brotherhood, scholarship, and personal growth.

We offer GPA Scholarships that celebrate academic achievement and provide financial assistance to students who excel in the classroom. These awards reinforce our commitment to scholarship as a core value of fraternity life.

To strengthen our chapter with the brightest and most promising members, we provide scholarships for incoming students who demonstrate outstanding potential:

High Academic Potential Scholarships – for students who bring a strong academic record to our brotherhood.
Future Leaders Scholarships – for students who exhibit leadership qualities and the drive to make a lasting impact.

Leadership & Mentorship Recognition (Future Initiatives)

Looking ahead, the Foundation plans to expand its support by offering scholarships that incentivize chapter officers and mentors. These awards will recognize those who dedicate themselves to guiding others, strengthening our brotherhood, and ensuring a thriving chapter experience.

Rising Stars Academy (RSA) – held in Atlanta, GA in January
Vrendenburg President’s Academy (VPA) – held in Atlanta, GA in January
Newell Officer’s Academy (NOA) – held in Columbus, OH in February

Chapter Enrichment

The Alpha Psi Foundation is dedicated to creating an environment where academic success and leadership development can thrive. Beyond scholarships and grants, we invest in chapter enrichment projects that directly improve the undergraduate experience. The recent renovation and dedication of the Brad and Connie Hornburg Library in the Chapter house is one such example.

Our current priority is the completion of the 3rd floor of the Chapter house, transforming this space into a dedicated study area and conference room for members.

Study Areas – Quiet, focused spaces for individual and group work that support academic success.
Conference Room – A professional-grade space for officer meetings, leadership workshops, and alumni engagement. This room will foster collaboration and prepare members for the professional settings they will encounter after graduation.

With a planned layout and renderings already prepared, this project represents a tangible step toward building the academic and professional infrastructure that ensures Alpha Psi men succeed during college and beyond.
